Frequently Asked Questions
Q: "What rod length do you recommend?"
A: "The length of the rod does affect the overall feel of a rod by moving the start of the "backbone" of the rod away from the handle, giving anglers more fish fighting ability within the rod to keep a fish hooked; however, length is typically controlled by an anglers fishing preference. Do they primarily fish in a wheelhouse or portable fish house where floor space is limited? Or do they tend to fish outside or in large houses? Are they comfortable with longer rod length? 32" is our most common rod length and is typically what we recommend for anyone unsure of rod length. This length provides a great feel on all of our rod models and is comfortable to use in any wheel house or portable shelter."

Q: "What rod model would you recommend for walleye?"
A: "Intentionally named, our Lake of the Woods model was designed to handle any size walleye, stocked trout, and jumbo perch you may encounter. The rod has a soft enough tip to allow for subtle bite detection without sacrificing hookset capability. A wide variety of jigging presentation can be used from 1/8oz spoons up to #6 jiggin raps."

Q: "Best all-around rod?"
A: "Our Finesse model is our best all-around rod with a tip light enough to detect finicky panfish, yet a backbone stout enough to hookset walleye and trout."
